Edmonton Office

The Edmonton office of ISL Engineering and Land Services Ltd. is our corporate headquarters, and home to 120 of our exceptional professional, technical, administrative and support staff. The office is located on the south side of Edmonton at 7909-51 Avenue, easily accessible from Whitemud Drive and 75 Street.

While ISL’s origins in Alberta date back to 1966, ISL was established as a new corporate entity in the Edmonton engineering market in1987. Since that time we have grown steadily in numbers and disciplines to meet the needs of our clients and the demands of the industry. In 2004, ISL moved into a newly expanded and renovated building, a move which signifies the growth of ISL and our commitment to the community and the long term success of our many clients in the Edmonton region.

As ISL’s corporate headquarters, the Edmonton office is home to our management and administration team led by President and CEO, Rod Peacock, P.Eng, which provides leadership and support to all offices. The Edmonton office is also home to a talented group of administrative, secretarial, communications and graphics staff, as well as a dedicated accounting group led by CFO, Barry Fischer, CMA. Our skilled Information Technology team provides support for all offices through the provision of leading edge hardware and software, technical support staff, and on-site plotting, printing and document production.

From the beginning, ISL has always enjoyed a culture that promotes professionalism and hard work, but also fosters fun, camaraderie, and support by providing extensive training opportunities, as well as family and after-work social activities. In our new Edmonton office, we also take pride in providing our staff with comfortable, well lit work spaces and amenities such as free parking, an exercise facility and a landscaped back yard for quiet lunches, staff meetings and barbeques. The company and staff also participate in a variety of fundraising efforts, aimed at enhancing the quality of life in the communities that we serve.

Most importantly our Edmonton office supports all seven of ISL’s service areas under one roof. Working together, our professional and technical staff collaborate across all disciplines on projects of all sizes and complexities to find innovative and effective solutions that achieve the goals of our valued clients.
