ISL Engineering and Land Services Ltd. Calgary has been in operation since 1996 and during that time, has grown significantly. Our group of exceptional professional, technical, and support staff continues to grow both in terms of staff numbers, and the ability to provide more in-depth services in the key disciplines of transportation and municipal engineering.
The Calgary office is managed by Cal McClary, P.Eng and delivers comprehensive engineering services to a wide variety of municipal (including the City of Calgary), provincial (including Alberta Infrastructure and Transportation), and private sector clients in central and southern Alberta.
ISL Calgary offers a full range of services to the transportation sector including planning, design and construction, bridge and interchange structures. Our office uses the latest hardware and software to provide our clients with complete design and modeling capabilities.
Our municipal group provides a full range of municipal and environmental engineering services including water and wastewater resources as well as supporting land development and site development projects. Water and stormwater state-of-the-art modeling techniques are employed to further build upon ISL’s reputation as a leader in municipal engineering.
Specialized technical support as well as general corporate support for financial and administrative service is readily available from the Edmonton office to meet the project needs of our Clients.

ISL Engineering and Land Services (ISL) is pleased to be named among the Top 50 Best Small and Medium Employers in Canada. ISL Engineering and Land Services ranked 4th on the list. The results of this prestigious study, now in its fifth year, are published in the Globe and Mail.
ISL Engineering and Land Services (ISL) is proud to be among Canada’s 30 most environmentally-conscious employers. It is the second time ISL has been on this list.
The list of Canada’s “Green 30” organizations, based on employee perceptions about their record on environmental stewardship, was released today by Aon Hewitt. The list was developed based on employee responses to questions in the 2011 Best Small and Medium Employers in Canada survey. Over 130,000 employees at more than 250 organizations were asked about their employer’s environmental practices. ISL ranked within the top 30 companies whose employees have a positive perception of their efforts.
