ISL Engineering and Land Services Ltd. Grande Prairie is an integral component of the ISL team in Alberta and British Columbia. Located near the centre of the city, we are easily accessible to staff, clients and business colleagues.

While ISL's origins in the Peace Country date back to 1966, ISL's Grande Prairie office has been in operation since 1987. Since that time, we have maintained and enjoy a strong relationship with the City of Grande Prairie, offering services primarily in the field of planning and transportation. The greatest expertise of our Grande Prairie staff is in planning, site development, tendering, contract administration, inspection services, and contractor and utility coordination. Led by Brian Morrison, P.Eng., our staff is comprised of talented, young professionals that compliment the skills of our experienced personnel. We take pride in our “open door policy as we strive to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients.

The new ISL Grande Prairie office is located at 10527 - 98 Avenue and provides staff with a comfortable working environment. Our location is ideal for the deployment of services to projects throughout the City, adjacent communities and surrounding areas. We strive to be on the leading edge of technology and are committed to personalized, cost-effective engineering and planning services with top quality results.

While we participate in events that take place at our corporate headquarters in Edmonton; golf tournaments, Christmas parties, workshops and seminars, we also take pride in our independent community-minded spirit. We host Christmas open houses and annual golf tournaments to show appreciation to our valued clients, community partners and business colleagues. Our hard working staff also makes time for personal activities and community involvement. Our staff consists of accomplished Rotarians, Dale Carnegie graduates, hockey and cycling enthusiasts, and Toastmasters International participants.

ISL Engineering and Land Services (ISL) is proud to be among Canada’s 30 most environmentally-conscious employers. It is the second time ISL has been on this list.

 The list of Canada’s “Green 30” organizations, based on employee perceptions about their record on environmental stewardship, was released today by Aon Hewitt. The list was developed based on employee responses to questions in the 2011 Best Small and Medium Employers in Canada survey.  Over 130,000 employees at more than 250 organizations were asked about their employer’s environmental practices.  ISL ranked within the top 30 companies whose employees have a positive perception of their efforts.
