Robin Zirnhelt Wins Harold L. Morrison Rising Young Professional Award

Robin Zirnhelt, B.Sc., P.Eng, was recognized with a Rising Young Professional Award at the Consulting Engineers of Alberta's Showcase Awards on January 26, 2013.

The Harold L. Morrison Rising Young Professional Award recognizes an individual young professional who has demonstrated excellence in consulting business practices, outstanding achievements in their applicable fields and leadership in the community. The award recognizes the outstanding and notable achievements in the young professional’s career to date and future potential.

"Despite his relatively young age, Robin not only makes extraordinary contributions daily in his role as the lead of heavy timber engineering at ISL, but he also willingly shares his keen eye, technical expertise and enthusiasm for advancing heavy timber engineering with others," says Adrian Wilson, Ph.D., P.Eng., and manager of ISL's Canmore office.

Robin has worked on the Kinsol Trestle Restoration (Cowichan Valley, BC), the Banff Fenlands Community Recreation Centre (Banff, AB) and more. Robin is ISL's Lead of Heavy Timber Engineering in the Structural-Buildings group in ISL's Canmore office.
