ISL’s Environmental Services team comprises professional biologists and technologists, environmental regulatory specialists, and qualified environmental monitors, such as QAES, QWAES and QEPs. Whether it is a stream crossing for roads or utilities, work in a national park, or a land development project, our team works to reduce environmental risks and mitigate environmental impacts.

We are solution-oriented professionals. We work with clients, designers and contractors to help them understand what is on the site, what regulations apply, what actions to take to mitigate impacts, and what best practices should be applied during construction—and we help implement these practices when it matters most.

Our team has in-depth knowledge of environmental regulatory requirements in Alberta and BC. Team members come from strong technical field backgrounds and know how approvals translate into action at construction; we bring this practical perspective to your project. Our experience includes work in aquatic and terrestrial environments from the BC coast to national parks in the Rockies, and the forests, wetlands and prairies of inland Alberta. Our field data can also be translated into high quality, state-of-the-art digital drafting and GIS/mapping products.

Whatever your environmental needs, we can help.
