ISL Joins SE 2050 Program
We are excited to announce that ISL’s Buildings Team has joined the Structural Engineering Institutes SE 2050 program.
About the Program
The SE 2050 program is a commitment to transform the practice of structural engineering by prioritizing the reduction of embodied carbon. This is achieved through the strategic use of less impactful structural materials.
Our Commitments
By joining SE 2050, ISL is committing to:
- Documenting the embodied carbon in our structural designs.
- Knowledge sharing about embodied carbon and reduction strategies.
- Implementing carbon reduction strategies.
- Setting future goals to drive down carbon emissions.
- Sharing data and resources with the structural engineering community to create an industry-wide knowledge base.
Our participation in this program is aligned with our dedication to sustainable design practices and innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients. We look forward to working alongside industry leaders in this collaborative effort and continuing our journey toward net-zero embodied carbon by 2050.
